An extra low carbon 19/13 Mo stainless steel electrode with controlled ferrite content of 4 to 9 percent for maximum resistance to stress corrosion cracking, hot cracking, chemical corrosion at high temperature. The weld metal has excellent creep strength and is of radiographic quality. The higher molybdenum content in the weld deposit reduces susceptibility to pitting and increases the strength of weld deposit at elevated temperatures and thus practically eliminates cracking as the weld cools from the molten state to room temperature.
Identification:Name Printed
Application:Welding of 317L type material, in clad fabrication, suitable for welding when heat treatment after welding is impossible. For joining stainless steels to lower alloys and carbon steels.
