Hardnell-600(LH):
- HARDNELL-600 (LH) is a basic coated AC-DC electrode specially designed for hardsurfacing and building-up of worn out machine parts and components for maximum service life. It can be used in all conventional positions.
- Soft and steady arc which is easy to strike and restrike, smooth and uniform bead profile and easy slag detachability are the special operating characteristics of HARDNELL-600 (LH).
- Welds are extremely hard, sound and highly resistant to abrasion, heavy impact or a combination of both. They are also resistant to plastic deformation under heavy impact.
- Permits heavy build-up without danger of checking or cracking. Thus, in case a heavy build-up on an excessively worn out part becomes necessary, the same can be accompanished with HARDNELL-600 (LH) alone.
- For most of the applications, HARDNELL-600 (LH) can be used directly on the job without the necessity of putting a buffer layer.
- Weld metal hardness : On mild steel two layers: 550-650 BHN
